Peer Review Policy
Peer Review Policy
The NPRC Multilingual Journal, like other reputed journals, follows a meticulous and rigorous process to maintain the quality and credibility of the research it publishes. The review and quality control process can be outlined as follows:
Submission: Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal's online submission system.
Initial Check: The editorial office conducts an initial evaluation to ensure adherence to the journal's guidelines, proper formatting, ethical considerations, and alignment with the journal's scope.
Editorial Board Review: The Editor-in-Chief or an assigned editor assesses the manuscript's significance, originality, and relevance to the journal's focus.
Peer Review:
Blind Review: The manuscript undergoes a double anonymous peer review process to minimize bias.
Feedback: Independent peer reviewers provide detailed feedback, offering recommendations for revisions or improvements.
Author Revisions: Authors revise their manuscripts based on the reviewers' feedback, addressing comments and making necessary enhancements.
Editorial Decision: The editorial board, led by the Editor-in-Chief, makes the final decision on acceptance, rejection, or the need for further revisions. This decision considers the research's originality, significance, and methodological soundness.
Copy Editing and Proofreading: Accepted manuscripts undergo thorough editing and proofreading to ensure clarity, coherence, and proper language usage.
Online Publication: Upon approval of the final version, the article is published online and assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for proper identification and citation.
Post-publication Monitoring: The journal may continue monitoring articles post-publication for ethical concerns, updates, or corrections. Any necessary corrections are typically communicated through errata or corrigenda.
This comprehensive process aims to uphold the scholarly integrity and credibility of research published in the NPRC Multilingual Journal, ensuring that each contribution meets high academic standards and significantly contributes to its respective field of study.
In Summary:
These articles will be considered for publication with the understanding that they are submitted to only one journal at a time and have not been published, submitted, or accepted for publication elsewhere.
NPRCMJ practices double-blind peer review. The average time between submission of the article and the final decision is one to two months.
It is requested to ensure that the full text of the manuscript, except for the title page, does not contain any information regarding the identity of the author/s and their institution.
The editors screen all the submitted manuscripts first. Manuscripts lacking sufficient originality, containing scientific or technical errors, or lacking an important message are rejected; poorly written articles are revised according to NPRCMJ guidelines.
The manuscripts are sent to two subject matter experts anonymously. The manuscripts are then thoroughly examined by the NPRCMJ editor in view of comments provided by the reviewers, and a decision regarding the manuscript is made. The contributors will receive the comments provided by the reviewers and the acceptance/rejection of the manuscript.
Accepted articles undergo the process of copy editing that includes corrections in terms of grammar, punctuation, printing style, etc. Proof sheets will be sent to the corresponding author, which needs to be returned within three days. Failure to respond to the proof sheets can result in delays in the publication of the article or even in its rejection.
